Choose time you can protect. This adds up practice time, not reading ability or a promised result.
Example routine: reread a short passage, work on one difficult word, then explain the passage in your own words. Leave a little time to choose your next page.
Compare like with like
Enter both quantities in the same unit, such as ounces, pages or individual items. Tax, delivery and product quality are outside this calculation.
Method: divide the price by the quantity. Then ask whether you need the larger pack. A lower unit price does not always mean a smaller bill.
Work through elapsed time
A practice tool for one shift shorter than 24 hours. An end time earlier than the start means the next day. It does not calculate wages, overtime or legal break entitlements.
For 8:30 to 16:45, count 8 hours and 15 minutes first. Subtract 30 minutes to get 7 hours and 45 minutes. Divide the 45 by 60 to write 7.75 decimal hours.
