A note about shopping links

Some Read Iowa guides discuss books and everyday learning supplies. We describe selection criteria in our own words and distinguish an illustrative image from an actual product photograph. We do not claim hands-on testing unless a guide explicitly documents it.

When a link supports the reading desk

A labelled merchant link can earn a referral commission. That relationship does not change the arithmetic in our practice tools or make a purchase necessary. Where Amazon links are active: As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

CJ, MaxBounty and eBay offers may also appear when the relevant property, campaign and placement are approved. Offers can differ by country. An unapproved offer is not a recommendation to buy through a borrowed tracking link.

Product information

Our checklists remain useful without live merchant data. Amazon-supplied images, prices and stock details appear only from a current permitted API cache. If the data expires, it disappears. A merchant's checkout is the place to confirm the current price, availability, delivery, returns and any subscription renewal terms.

No star ratings or review totals are reproduced here. The reading desk may earn nothing when a reader chooses a library, uses an existing notebook or decides to wait. Those can still be the best choices for the task.

For questions about an actual purchase, contact the merchant. For a correction to a guide, use the reading desk.
